Occasionally our growers release to us a limited quantity of older vintages or disgorgements which are perfect for current consumption. We also have some wines available from our personal collections, stored in our European cellar since release.
“Prêt à prendre” was suggested by one of our growers who (like many French) delighted in wordplay, and complained that our initial choice of “prêt à boire” was too straightforward. The phrase has grown on us, and we are sure the wines will live up to their billing.
